Director Bala released the audio of the film which was accepted by Mukund’s daughter Arshiya and Baby Yuvina (who has starred in the film). The film’s script is a patriotic one.
Speaking on the occasion, Arjun said “I wanted to have an audio-launch befitting the film’s title and got reminded of Major Mukund, the real life hero and a martyr. I wanted to have his family members to be present at the audio-launch. Though they hesitated at first, they later agreed to attend the event. Their presence has made the event a very, very special one.”
Mukund’s father Varadharajan said that Mukund was a fan of ‘action king’ Arjun’s films. “He watched Gentleman with interest and took a liking to watching Arjun’s many films. Though he is not with us any more, we are happy that we are part of a function held to honour him.” ‘Kalaipuli’ Thanu said that Arjun had a great record as a film-maker and hoped that his record would continue with Jai Hind 2.
