Reports emanating from Norway say that the crew of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Tana, which went to Norway located at the Northern-most tip of Europe to shoot for a song, was left stranded for a few days as the crew members were forced to spend time idly due to delay by music director Anirudh in sending the song which was to be shot.
Durai Senthil Kumar, who debuted as director with Sivakarthikeyan-Priya Anand starrer Ethir Neechal, is directing Sivakarthikeyan for the second time in Tana which is in the making for the past few months. The crew landed up in the picturesque Norway a few days back to shoot a couple of songs. Unfortunately, the crew had to kill time by opting for site-seeing for two days.
Anirudh, who gave the crew one song two days after it landed up in Norway, told them to shoot the song first for a few days. As Anirudh takes his own time in composing tunes, the lyrics have also not been finalized. Durai and Senthil conversed with Anirudh, who stayed put in Chennai, via internet and finally ‘finalized’ one song and Anirudh took two more days to record the song and send it to the crew.
Producer of the film is obviously upset that Anirudh acted callously not realizing the fact that Norway is one of the most expensive outdoor shooting locations in the world. Anirudh hasn’t been told specifically to speed up things but the shoot has commenced in right earnest.
