Trisha has opined that she knew that Ajith Kumar, her co-star in her upcoming film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, was aware of her ‘acting prowess’ which made him agree to star opposite her for the fourth time.
Trisha hasn’t been getting solo-heroine’s roles for the past few years and invariably, a younger heroine is cast along with Trisha. 31-year old Trisha has been cast along with Anushka in Ajith’s upcoming film Sathya (tentatively titled) which is his first-ever film with Gautham Menon. Ajith essays dual roles in the film, one of them being a cop’s role.
Ji, Kireedom and Mankatha have been the other three films which had Ajith and Trisha in the lead. As such, Trisha becomes the heroine who has starred in maximum number of films opposite Ajith.
The shoot of Sathya has been going on briskly with arrangements being finalized to shoot many sequences which are to be filmed abroad.
“It’s nice to be paired up opposite Ajith yet again and the fact that I’m the heroine who has starred in maximum number of films opposite him makes the film doubly special for me,” says Trisha and adds that “Ajith is aware of my acting prowess and that’s why he has made me take on an impressionable role in the film. I have always felt that he is the hero who is most suited to me on-screen!”
