Actor Arya who is currently busy with multiple projects will be teaming up with director Vijay to recreate the ‘Madarasapattinam’ magic, sources reveal.
Director Vijay is currently busy with the final stage works of his directorial venture ‘Saivam’ that will be hitting he screens soon. In June he will be tying the nuptial knot to his long time beau Amala Paul.
After that he will be joining with his long time friend Arya to give another romantic flick. It is unsure whether it will be a period flick like ‘Madarasapattinam’ or a story set in contemporary milieu. Vijay’s regular composer G.V.Prakash and cinematographer Nirav Shah will be working for this project also.
Arya is currently shooting for ‘Meagamann’ directed by Magizh Thirumeni, ‘Purambokku’ directed by S.P.Jananathan and ‘Yatchan’ directed by Vishnuvardhan. He has also signed up for the sequel of ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ to be directed by Rajesh.
It is unknown when the project will kick start. Vijay has refused to divulge any further details about the film saying it is to early to speak about that.
