As we all know Superstar Rajinikanth’s magnum opus Kochadaiiyaan will be releasing in six languages across the globe in a record number of screens that will be no less han 3,500 on 9th of May. The multi starrer film directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin is India’s first Performance Capture Photo Realistic Film.
Well before the release of Kochadaiiyaan media is abuzz with Rajini’s next film that is going to be directed by K.S.Ravikumar, which is a rare phenomenon.
The news was officially confirmed when Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha revealed that she will be making her debut in Tamil with the Superstar in a film directed by Ravikumar. Several news items stating A.R.Rahman, cinematographer Rathnavelu and Anushka’s inclusion in the film are yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile we have some information about the start of the project. As per reports from reliable sources, the Raijini-Ravikumar project will be a period flick and it will kick start in Mysore on May 19. The first schedule will go on for 40 days. The film will be produced by Rockline Venkatesh at a whopping budget of rupees 200 crores.
Currently the art and costume designers department are working on collecting ancient materials to bring the authentic feel to costumes and set designs.
