Nani and Vaani Kapoor’s Aaha Kalyanam, which has also been dubbed in Telugu with the same name, is releasing worldwide on February 21. The movie has been cleared by Regional Censor Board, which has awarded ‘U/A’ certificate to the film.
The movie was watched by the board official recently and they have given thumbs up to the film. As the film had a few steamy scenes, they decided to give ‘U/A’ certificate for Aaha Kalyanam.
The success of the audio has added fuel to the growing expectations of the audience and music director Dharan Kumar is happy about it. “I have not listened to the original Hindi songs and was apprehensive about being carried away with the original sound track. Director Gokul was very particular on the Tamil flavour in the songs.”
He concludes, “Lyric writers Madhan Karky and Thamarai rose up to the occasion and delivered one of the best lyrics of the recent times for Aaha Kalyanam.”
Aaha Kalyanam marks the debut of Bollywood’s leading production Yash Raj Films in South. The upcoming movie is a remake of Bollywood movie Band Baaja Baarat, which starred Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. In the South version, yesteryear actress Simran has done a guest appearance.
