Santhanam, who celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, has taken an important resolution. That he would reduce the usage of double entendre in dialogues uttered by him in his forthcoming movies.
This decision follows the criticism faced by the top comedian, that he has made a carrier out of obscene dialogues. “He would henceforth focus on meaningful and quality comedy that could be watched by the whole family,” sources say.
Earlier in the day, Santhanam visited Sri Arunachaleshwarar temple at Thiruvannamalai with his family and also doled out welfare measures to the needy. Santhanam is among the leading comedians in Kollywood and has made a foray into Mollywood recently, He turned 34 on Tuesday (21 January).
From a television personality to the tinsel town, it has been a memorable journey for Santhanam, who made his acting debut with Vallavan. He is presently the most sought-after comedian in Tamil filmdom and has been part of several successful movies including Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Bhaskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
He has also ventured into production with a company called ‘Handmade Films’ and came up with Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya. Santhanam was part of the recently released Veeram starring Ajith in the lead and is doing movies including Inga Enna Solludhu.
