Salman Khan, the evergreen bachelor of Bollywood, has said that he can never be called as the ‘Rajinikanth’ of Bollywood. Salman Khan was speaking at a function held to launch the trailer of his upcoming film titled as Jai Ho.
Hindi remake of Chiranjeevi’s super-hit Telugu film Stalin, Jai Ho is produced and directed by Salman’s younger brother Sohail Khan. It stars Tabu, Sana Khan, Daisy Shan and sizzler Bruna Abdullah in prominent roles and is scheduled to release all over the country and abroad on 24th January, 2014.
The trailer-launch coincided with the 63rd birthday of superstar Rajinikanth. Salman was praised recently by his contemporary Aamir Khan that Salman’s films would have successful run even if he merely puts on a stylish belt and a pair of sun-goggles.
Speaking on the occasion, Salman said “I can hardly be termed as the ‘Rajinikanth’ of Bollywood. I definitely like him like many of my contemporaries in Bollywood.
“Rajini Sir is an amazing individual….Even if I’m able to match his qualities to some extent, I shall be extremely happy,” said Salman, easily the most eligible bachelor in India at the moment.
