Ulaganayagan to Inaugurate Int’l Film festival in Bengaluru

2008020951210301_442174eUlaga nayagan Kamalhassan is all set to inaugurate the 6th International film festival to be held in Bengaluru. The event that will start on December 26th will go on for eight days

The Generous Kanataka Government has granted Rs.2 crores for conducting the festival in their capital city. Mr.Sidharamaiyah, the Chief Minister of Karnataka is expected to take part as the chief guest of this festival that will screen 145 films from 45 Nations.

Rajkumar, the yesteryear superstar and the one who has acquired the legendary status will be remembered in this festival that will see the screening of most of his film.

14 films that has been nominated for Best Foreign Language films category of Oscars will be screened. Apart from these films screened in the International film festivals held in as many places as Berlin, Cannes, Karlovi. Vaari, Moscow, Venice, Toronto will be screened.

The best of films of World renowned Directors such as Oscar Barhadi, Francois Ozone,Thomas Winderberg and a few others will also be brought to the viewing of Indian audience through this festival.

All the films will be shared between the theatres such as Fun Cinemas, Sulochana, Priyadarshini and Badami House At the closing of the festival a competition will be held among films from India and other Aisan Countries and the winners will get Cash awards. .
