Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan was in Chennai to thank his fans in Tamil Nadu for the unprecedented support given by them to his latest release Krrish 3 which was released in theatres across the country and in the rest of the world on 01st November. The super-hero science fiction film, the third in the Krrish series, has been made in 3-D mode and lapped up by fans like never-before.
Hrithik, who underwent surgery in the brain some time back, met fans at the Sathyam Cinemas. He was so moved by the fans’ support that he announced that he would try his best to star in a Tamil film soon.
Krrish 3 has been produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father and actor. Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut (remember her in ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s Dhaam Dhoom?) have played the two heroines in the film.
Talking to newsmen, Hrithik said “I have been visiting many cities across the country but the kind of enthusiasm fans have displayed in Chennai is amazing to say the least.
I feel I should try to star at least in one Tamil film in future so as to show my gratitude to these fans’ love and affection. Even if I’m not able to do so, I shall ensure that Tamil characters are given prominence in my Hindi films from now onwards.
“I shall try to keep my good work going and would try my best to continue to deliver films to the fans’ liking. I have been told that rrish 3 has been doing well in all the theatres in India and abroad which has gladdened my heart. At this juncture, I would like to thank my father, my wife and all the members of my family and my fans who have always stood by me,” concluded Hrithik.
