It was in December end that Vikram Prabhu’s debut ‘Kumki’ hit the screens, but turned out to be famed as one of the best feature films of the year. Vikram seems to be holding on to his lucky trend, as he is looking forward to the release of his ‘Ivan Vera Mathiri’ next month. With most of the shooting over, the Vikram Prabhu-Surabhi starrer is a lot of action and love story to look forward to, says director Saravanan.
Having worked with director Linguswamy in producer’s shoes, Saravanan reveals that his experience with the film was complete professionalism, thanks to the pillar of support and understanding from Linguswamy. “He being a producer himself, understood the responsibilities of a director very well and offered complete cooperation.
There was one shot that required to use a helicam, brought down all the way from Hong Kong and Linguswamy was highly helpful in understanding the need and making the arrangements for the shot. In fact, the producer gave me total independence, allowing me to walk the movie at my will, and did not show up for any of the shooting schedules to oversee how work progressed. He trusted the whole project to me, and it is a great experience working on ‘Ivan Veramathiri’. We are looking forward to a grand release next month” says Saravanan.
