Trust the picture-perfect and bubbly Kajal Aggarwal to speak out the truth at any time and on any topic. The actress is basking in kudos flowing from all directions for her stellar performance in the just-released All in All Azhagu Raja (some posters simply say Azhagu Raja, thoug) opposite Karthi.
Released on Deepavali last Saturday, the M. Rajesh-directed film has reportedly opened to thunderous responses from fans used to the Rajesh-style of comedy in his first three movies in Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Bhaskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Kajal, who has already starred opposite Karthi in Naan Mahaan Alla a few years back, is quite happy at all the appreciations coming her way.
Kajal is also one of the few heroines who have successful careers in both Tamil and Telugu films. She was taking part in a promotional event in connection with Azhagu Raja on a popular regional television channel when she was asked as to who among Karthi, Vijay, Suriya and Jiiva was badly in need of an urgent ‘fashion make-over’.
Pat came the reply from Kajal: ‘Vijay’ was the reply from her. Usually, heroines would skip answering such questions but not Kajal, who is as daring and as outspoken as some of her on-screen characters are. In a similar vein, when asked as to which heroine should call it quits after spending close to a decade in films, Kajal quipped that ‘Shriya Saran’ is the one who ought to be on her way out.
Sure this Aggarwal babe has loads of courage!
