Noted playback singer Chinmayi Sripada is at her philanthropic best according to her fans. For her side, she is putting in her best efforts to make the Joy of Giving Week a popular trend midst fans. For those who don’t know much about this ‘festival of giving’, let us tell you it started off back in 2009, as a celebration an annual celebration, after Gandhi Jayanti, which falls on October 2-8.
In fact, irrespective of their social or economical background people from every strata of the society join in for this fest, be it CEOs to Auto drivers, celebrities to homemakers and opinion leaders. The wide array of events make way for a compassionate praising – encompassing NGOs, corporate organizations, schools, colleges and media houses.
On her part Chinmayi will be releasing a music single, as she expects to support the 17000ft Foundation. This organisation aims to improve the struggling education system of rural Ladakh, covering 900 + schools in remote regions. “It is indeed a thoughtful contribution from the talented singer”, remarks one of her fans.
In addition, this single would be released in regional languages such as Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as its organizers expect to earn a chunk of their returns through online downloads. All set to conclude by October 8, we too hope the month would kick start on a good note for the versatile Chinmayi.
