Vikram Prabhu, who debuted as hero in Tamil films late last year with the super-successful Kumki, has revealed that he follows the advice by superstar Rajinikanth in taking up film offers.
Son of actor Prabhu and grandson of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesah, lanky Vikram Prabhu was appreciated by critics and movie-goers for his performance in last year’s Prabhu Solomon-directed Kumki which won many awards in various categories. Thanks to the success of Kumki, Vikram has a handful of films on his hands including Ivan Veramathiri, Sigaram Thodu and Arima Nambi.
Queries as to how he manages his call-sheet schedule while starring simultaneously in as many as three films, Vikram replied ever-so-casually that it has become an ‘easy’ affair for him as he follows superstar Rajini’s advice in this regard.
“During my fathers days, it was common for heroes to star in more than one film at a time. In today’s scenario, it appears a difficult proposition. However, Rajini Sir once told me not to star in only one film at a time. He told me to star simultaneously in 2 or 3 films so as to get rich and varied experiences from it; I’m simply following superstar’s advice,” concludes Vikram.
