Ajith is known to be very friendly and down-to-earth with all his co-stars, technicians, spot-boys and assistants during the shoot of his films. The actor, who is awaiting the theatrical release of his upcoming film Arrambam on Deepavali, is presently shooting non-stop for his next film Veeram which is scheduled to release in Tamil Nadu and elsewhere on 14th January next year as a ‘Pongal’ gift to his fans.
Tantalizing Tamannaah is paired opposite Ajith for the first time in Veeram which is directed by Siva (of the super-duper hit Siruthai fame). Abhinaya, the actress with great will-power who is borne with the speaking and hearing disorder, plays a prominent role in Veeram opposite Vidharth of Mynaa fame.
Readers might recall Abhinaya, who debuted in Sasikumar’s Nadodigal in 2009 and won several awards for her performance in the film. She then went on to star in small but significant role sin films such as Aayirathil Oruvan and Suriya’s 7am Arivu besides essaying a prominent role in Easan. The talented 21-year old actress has many projects lined up in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
Abhinaya is said to be earning accolades from the director and the entire Unit for the understanding she displays and the prompt manner in which she emotes on-screen. Apparently impressed by her performance, Ajith has reportedly asked Siva to increase Abinaya’s portions in the film. Moreover, he is conversing with her during breaks in shoot in the same manner in which one of his characters in the hit film Vaali did: using sign language.
Ajith’s humane side is revealed here as he ensures that Abhinaya, who is relatively inexperienced in Tamil but is mightily talented, should feel happy that a big star like him allocates time to converse with her!
