These days, KS Ravikumar, is eagerly awaiting to see the post production duties of the Rajinikanth, feature Kochadaiyaan come to an end. Meanwhile, he has simultaneous duties to look forward. Well, his recent assignment was not that of a writer, neither a director but an actor. Yes, KS Ravikumar will be seen in a cameo on screen yet again, but this time, it won’t be his directorial but that of his former assistant and Thoonga Nagaram fame director Gaurav for the flick Sigaram Thodu featuring Vikram Prabhu in the lead.
On special request, mentor director KS Ravikumar, agreed to Gaurav as the latter’s request was very convincing. For his role in the movie KS Ravikumar is cast alongside Sathyaraj, who is the protagonist’s dad. Director Gaurav says, “This scene will come in the beginning of the movie. It will be based of a discussion between Sathyaraj Sir and KS Ravikumar Sir (cast as a cop). They will introduce the protagonist on screen.”
For Gaurav, it was important to cast the cop as someone who was always happy and very comfortable in front of the camera. Undoubtedly, his mentor lived up to the promise and delivered in style, mentions a unit member who was present for the shoots. Although initially nervous, this shot has come out extremely well mentions Gaurav.
