Director-actor Ram (born as Ramasubramanian) has expressed confidence that his third directorial venture titled as Taramani would bring the best out of playback singer-cum-actress Andrea Jeremiah. Andrea plays the female lead in the film.
Ram is relatively pleased with the moderate success of his latest film Thanga Meenkal which had child artiste Baby Sadhana in a prominent role.
Taramani is produced by Sathish Kumar’s JSK Films Corporation and has Vasanth Ravi as the hero opposite Andrea. A song in the film has already been filmed on the lead pair and the film is likely to release in Pongal (next January). The film’s ‘first-look’ was revealed recently through its poster. Ram says his new film would be as realistic as his earlier films.
“I have depicted the realities of an urban love-affair in the backdrop of globalization. For this, I have taken up the happenings in the IT field. I have attempted to highlight the everlasting nature of love. I personally feel that Andrea Jeremiah’s talents as an actress have so far remained untapped in the industry. This film has made use of her acting prowess fully and I’m sure she might become one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry once Taramani releases,” assures Ram.
