Best remembered for her appearance in Rajinikanth’s – Sivaji The Boss, Shriya Saran has been on the hunt to prove that she is more than ‘a one hit wonder’. Evidently, she managed to bag more than a couple of Hollywood projects, apart from the handful of projects she was part of in Telugu and Malayalam. Very recently, she also forayed into Sandalwood with the project – Chandra, her debut performance in a Kannada movie.
Notably, Chandra which is a Roopa Iyer directorial, featuring Prem Kumar, was accepted as an appealing watch, much credit to Shriya’s toned appearance and some sizzling hot onscreen chemistry clad in a colorful hues.
Now, following up on this project,Shriya has also been offered a Bollywood movie. However, this is certainly not the first time that she is part of a Hindi movie. Previously, Shriya has also been part of Hindi projects namely – Mission Istanbul and Zila Ghaziabad. This one is titled – Valmiki Ki Bandook and this perky beauty is much kicked about it.
Directed by renowned face – Tigmanshu Dhulia’s assistant – Karan Bhutani, Valmiki Ki Bandook, is shot in Dholpur (Rajasthan), and it promises to showcase Shriya in some traditional Rajasthani costumes.
“For Shriya, whose preference for glamourous attires is well know, it did not take much convincing” mentions an insider. Hopefully, it will also give her the much needed room for a performance too.
