Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for director Nesan’s ‘Jilla’ and his following project with director AR Murugadoss is to kick start once both the stars are done with their prior commitments. The crew has however decided not to divulge the title of this project until close to release.
Following the unexpected trouble they faced in the case of ‘Thupakki’, the director has decided to keep the title until wraps, as ‘Thupakki’ had to face problems with the ‘Kala Thupakki’ team that restricted the release of the film’s trailer and teasers.
As a measure to cut out trouble, the team has now decided not to declare the title until close to the release of the film next year. It can be observed that director Vishnuvardhan followed a similar strategy, not revealing the title for ‘Arrambam’, until most of the shooting was done.
The Vijay-ARM project is likely to have Samantha in the lead, along side Vijay, dancing to Anirudh’s tunes and canned by George Williams. An official confirmation is awaited on the film’s updates, and the project, produced by Ayngaran International, will go on the floors once Vijay is done with director Nesan’s ‘JIlla’ and Murugadoss is done with the Hindi remake of ‘Thupakki’, starring Akshay Kumar and titled ‘Pistol’.
Looks like the film fraternity has to come up with new ideas every day to beat controversies. Got suggestions?
