Ram, the director-turned-hero, is upbeat on the eve of his Thanga Meenkal hitting the screens last friday. He is also apprehensive that the film, which is made sans any usual commercial interests, should do well in theatres. Initial reports say that the film’s first-day response was more than encouraging.
On the eve of release of Thanga Meenkal, Ram has also announced the launch of his next directorial venture. Ram debuted as director with the Jiiva-Anjali starrer Kattradhu Thamizh which released six years back and has announced that his third film has been titled as Taramani and would have playback singer-turned-actress Andrea Jeremiah playing the heroine.
Vasanth Ravi would play the male lead in the film which would have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The posters of the film have already started arousing interest in the film and the tag-line ‘Love is something which travels beyond the lust for flesh and sex’ has only added to the curiosity limits!
J. Sathish Kumar’s JSK Film Corporation would be presenting the film which is produced on behalf of Kattumaram Productions.
