Eager fans of superstar Rajinikanth are flooding the net with the poster-designs of Endhiran 2, giving vent to their imagination. These posters, which have been going around the various social networking sites for the past couple of days, have aroused curiosity among movie-goers as to whether Rajini and Shankar are actually planning to make a sequel to their super-duper hit Enthiran: The Robot which released in 2010.
Rajini hasn’t had any release since Endhiran which released more than three years back. Rana, which was launched with much fanfare on 29th April, 2011 has been abandoned as Rajini feel ill on the same evening when the film’s muhurat was held in Chennai. Rajini’s subsequent hospitalization in Chennai and in Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital and the period of recuperation thereafter delayed the launch of his next film.
Kochadaiyaan has been in the making now for almost two years yet nobody associated with the film has been able to spell it out clearly as to when the film would be hitting the screens. Rajini’s fans had been displaying monumental patience in getting an opportunity to watch their Thalaivar on-screen after a long gap. Soundarya, director of Kochadaiyaan, hasn’t yet spoken clearly on when she plans to release the film.
The poster-designs, devised by eager fans of Rajini, were released on the net a few days back hinting that the much-loved character of ‘Chitti’ would be back in the sequel. The designs appear to be giving an illusion that the sequel is in the making; thought they are the figment of imagination of Rajini’s fans, the finesse with which they have been created have made them hugely popular.
The North Indian media, which never misses out in anything about Rajini, has also made a reference about the posters brought out by Rajini’s fans. If these designs end up inspiring Shankar & Co. to make a sequel to Enthiran, won’t the fans be utterly delighted?
