Prasanna and Lekha Washington play the lead roles in the upcoming film Kalyana Samayal Saadham billed as a laugh-riot which would also have plenty of romantic sequences as well. Directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by the duo of Arun Vaidyanathan and Ananth Govindan, the film’s audio was released recently and the film would be released in theatres in a few weeks’ time.
The script deals with the positive aspects of arranged marriage and also provides an insight into how things can go wrong even in a carefully and methodically planned marriage. Today’s youths and the newly-weds can easily identify themselves with the characters and the occurrences in the film, says the director.
‘Delhi’ Ganesh, Uma Padmanabhan, ‘Crazy’ Mohan, ‘Kathadi’ Ramamurthy, R.S. Sivaji and veteran Neelu have essayed significant roles in the film. The script revolves around a marriage being held and the arrangements for the marriage being made by the families of the bride and the groom. Many comic incidents which occur relating to the marriage make the film interesting and a fun-filled one.
Krishnan Vasant is the cinematographer of the film which has music by Arora.
