After a break of more than three years, film-maker Chimbu Devan is back to making films. His upcoming directorial venture has been titled as Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum and would have Arulnidhi in the lead role.
Arulnidhi, grandson of Kalaignar and son of M.K. Tamilarasu, debuted in films more than three years back with national award-winning director Pandiraj’s Vamsam opposite Sunaina. He seems to be following the one-film-per-year rule. He is now shooting for the final stages of Thagararu wherein he has been paired opposite Poorna a.k.a. Shamna Kasim.
Produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies, Thagaraaru is likely to release next month. After this film, Arulnidhi now plays the hero in Chimbu Devan’s Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum which promises to be a fun-filled film if the title is any indication. Devan was to make sequel to Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi starring Vadivelu but the film has now been abandoned, it is reported.
Bindu Madhavi, who has been making rapid strides in Kollywood ever since Kazhugu and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga turned out to be hit films, pairs up opposite Arulnidhi in Devan’s film which is produced by Tamilarasu.
