Looks like Dhanush’s success in Bollywood has gone on to increase the acceptance of talented South India actors irrespective of regional boundaries. Undoubtedly in the best of spirits, directors are looking for that special face from K town which is a hot new trend in Bollywood.
The fact that Dhanush pulled off an intense performance speaking Hindi has also convinced many directors up north. Now, joining in their list is none other than our Arvind Swamy.
David fame Bejoy Nambiar thinks there is no one better than Arvind who can pull of a role in his next project. As Bejoy has assisted Mani Ratnam in his earlier days, Arvind was also eager to nod in favor of the request.
Apparently it will be a long return and a second innings for the actor, as after having made his debut in the 1998 flick – Saat Rang Ke Sapne and then Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya in 2000, the actor has been away from Bollywood for nearly 13 years now.
Confirming this, a representative of Arvind Swamy tells us “The shoots of this movie has been scheduled for December, we can only reveal further details once the director and producer confirm it.” Apart from the yet untitled flick, the actor is also part of cinematographer director Santosh Sivan’s – ‘Ceylon’ as a voice over artist. Stay tuned as we will bring you more on the same soon.
