Director A.L. Vijay, who is gearing up to release his next directorial venture titled Thalaivaa which has Vijay and Amala Paul essaying leading roles, has now announced the details of his next film. Contrary to popular expectation that he would opt for another leading hero, Vijay has decided to make a script-oriented film on the lines of his Deiva Thirumagal.
Titled as Saivam, ALV’s new film is to star Baby Sara, who played a significant role in Deiva Thirumagal, in the lead role. The announcement about the film puts to rest speculations as to who would be starring in Vijay’s next film and whether or not he would be opting to make films only with leading heroes and heroines.
Vijay’s Saivam reportedly is aimed at children but would appeal to all sections of the audiences. As per the script, the story is about the bonding Sara shares with a hen which is specially grown to be used for giving as ‘offering’ during the temple festival in the village.
While those close to the director insist that it would be a short film, Vijay asserts that it’s a feature film. Keep watching this space for further updates!
