AR Rahman ropes in Geoff Foster for Rajinikanth Kochadaiyaan
Some days ago, AR Rahman openly accepted, that he is an all out Rajinikanth fan to media representatives. Likewise, we know Superstar himself has been very particular in roping in the Mozart of Madras for his projects. Hoping to continue their successful run which was last seen in the mega hit offering Endhiran – they join hands yet again for Kochadaiyaan – a debut directorial for Rajini’s daughter Soundarya.
Meanwhile, updates on its post production have been more than satisfying as ARR himself is trying his best to rope the best technicians in the field of film sound. For the re-recording, Rahman has been in London at the world renowned AIR Studios, looking over the mix of his 200 tracks of music with Geoff Foster. For those who don’t know about the living legend Geoff Foster – his professional expertise was sought in projects such as Life of Pi, The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, The Great Gatsby, Fast Furious 6 and several others Hollywood hits.
Having worked with Rahman for Enthiran, this duo is trying their best to push the envelope further, as this project will also mark India’s first ever animation flick to employ motion capture technology and be a complete 3D entertainer in addition to using the Aura 3D sound technology. Presently, Kochadaiyaan’s crew has a deadline, as its final cut is expected by the last half of 2013.
