Raanjhnaa which is Dhanush’s debut Hindi project will soon release in Tamil as Ambikapathy satisfying Dhanush’s home crowd. In both the versions, a common link is shared by Isaipuyal AR Rahman with contributions as its featured composer.
However, for Rahman this bilingual is a refreshing change indeed and he doesn’t mind tweaking away his tunes to perfection. As always the composer is eagerly looking forward to treating fans, with strong inclinations towards his Indian tunes!
Rahman who has drifted away from Indian movies recently, spending an entirety of his time in Hollywood productions namely – The Seventh son which is presently under post production, Monkey of Bollywood (Mumbai musical) a Dreamworks Animation feature and Paani from renowned director Shekar Kapur, is happy for the change.
Likewise, demand from his brand of tunes are worth a mention.Produced by Eros International and directed by Aanand L Rai, after a viral trailer on media sharing sites reports suggest Raanjhnaa’s music rights have been acquired by Sony Music for a bracket in between Rs 5 – 6 crores !!!
