Sathyaraj was last seen in Vijay starrer blockbuster Nanban. Now, he is returning in the lead role with Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA, a sequel to his blockbuster 1994 film Amaithi Padai. Amaithi Padai was one of the biggest hits of Sathyaraj’s career. The film directed by Manivannan was considered to be one of the best political film in Tamil film industry. Sathyaraj was seen in dual roles of which Nagaraja Cholan was one of the character’s name in the film. Hence, Nagaraja Cholan has been named for the latest instalment.
The movie also marks 50th venture of the director and the 200th milestone film of Sathyaraj. Well, one more underling point is that their combo had earlier delivered a couple of hits.
