Director Vincent Selvaa is back after a hiatus and has made Thulli Vilaiyadu whose special show for Kollywood fraternity was arranged recently. Those who watched the film assure that the film is a complete laugh-riot sans any double-meaning dialogues.
Thulli Vilaiyadu stars newcomers Yuvaraj and Deepthi in the lead roles and has Prakash Raj in a prominent role. Prakash Raj has even danced for an item number song with a Mumbai beauty in the film. Produced by R.P. Studios, Thulli Vilaiyadu also has the likes of Jayaprakash, Chenrayan and ‘Barota’ Suri playing significant roles.
The Censors, who recently viewed the film, had passed it off with an ‘U’ certification and without effecting any cuts. They had even appreciated Selvaa for making a ‘clean film’ which would appeal to all sections of the audiences. Now that the post-production work including dubbing is now complete, Thulli Vilaiyadu is all set to hit the screens soon.
Selvaa, who has made Vijay-starrers Priyamudan and Youth in the past, is upbeat about the prospects of Thulli Vilaiyadu at the box-office. “The film’s script can be summarized briefly as a struggle between a lion (Prakash Raj) and three mice (Yuvaraj, Chenrayan and Suri). Along with it Deepthi’s love affair with Yuvaraj is added to make it a hilarious comedy. We’re hoping that the film meets audiences’ expectations in every possible manner,” concludes Selvaa.
