The producers of Gouravam, written and directed by Radha Mohan of Mozhi fame, have finally decided to zero upon its release date for the silver screen this April 12th! Its release will mark the debut of Tollywood actor Allu Sirish – younger sibling of Telugu hunk Allu Arjun in Kollywood alongside Yami Gautam.
Ever since the release dates were announced for this bilingual which has been shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu which is produced by Prakash Raj under his home banner the cast and crew of Gauravam are awaiting for the verdict from the Censor Board.
The news is that the Tamil version has been given a clean U certificate by the board.The distribution rights for the same are now with Vendhar movies. For this project, composer Thaman and cinematographer Preetha have teamed up to provide same foot tapping numbers and visuals from the villages of South India. In addition LB Sriram, Prakash Raj and veteran performer Nassar will also chip in with their notable performances.
Let us hope just like former collaborations from the Prakash – Radha Mohan camp namely – Abhiyum Naanum, Payanam, Azhagiya Theeye and Mozhi, Gouravam too tastes the desired success.
