Actress Jeevitha, who starred in many Tamil films in the eighties and nineties had her own share of fans and excelled in performing to perfections the roles given to her. She starred opposite the likes of Vijayakanth and Sathyaraj in many films and in innumerable number of Telugu films.
Jeevitha got married to Telugu superstar Dr. Rajasekar (idhu thanda police fame) and settled into matrimony in the early nineties. She has two daughters in Sivani and Sivatmika. Sivani, now 17 years old now, is all set to be launched by Jeevitha in a new Telugu film which is to be directed by popular director Mahadev.
Rajasekar, a professional doctor and an established name in Telugu films, is said to have now given the nod to his wife to introduce their daughter into the world of films , after the couple had a fight on the issue.
Mahadev has to his credit the successful Mithrudu which starred Balakrishna in the lead.
In order to prepare Shivani to suit the tough grinds and the needs of the film industry, Jeevitha is said to have trained her in dancing and acting by sending her to proper training schools. Shivani, who is already looking slim, is also hitting the gym regularly to be ready to star in the film which is likely to go to the floors in March.
Shivani must be eyeing Kollywood as well and might by following the route of Karthika Nair, daughter of yesteryear’s actress Radha, who too debuted in a Telugu film before moving to Kollywood.
