Both Vetrimaaran and young superstar Silambarasan were supposed to work together in a film titled Vada Chennai that was to be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Movie. Nevertheless, the project was stalled on the spur of moment due to some unknown reasons.
Well, the duo comes together again, but for a different reason. Yes, Vetrimaaran’s long time associate Prithvi Rajkumar makes his debut directorial through the film Naan Rajavaaga Pogiren starring Nakul, Chandni and Avani Modi in lead roles.
Vetrimaaran is writing story and screenplay for this film with GV Prakash composing songs and background score. Young superstar Silambarasan accepted the offer of GV Prakash to croon a song ‘Kalaipom’ that was recorded recently in Chennai. The film is an action thriller laced with romance, glamour, comedy and action. The shooting commenced before a long time and is now close on the heels of completion.
