The next word pronounced in Tamil Nadu next to Deepavali is Thuppakki. There are so many expectations among the Tamil people about the film Thuppakki in which Vijay dons the lead role. We spoke to director A R Murugadoss who is busy in the post production of this film.
He said, “Apart from director I am a great fan of Vijay. The reason for this is his simplicity. I got the opportunity to move with him when I worked as an assistant in the film Kushi. Vijay always use to motivate the assistant directors.
At that time, he mentioned that we both will work together. Now that time has come. In this film, you can see the difference in Vijay’s acting, body language and dialogue modulation. He will be cool and calm without any tension at the shooting spot but during the shooting he will excel in dance, fight and comedy as if he has learnt all the nuances of all these things. There are lots of special items for Vijay fans in this film.
Vijay has spoken Hindi in this film. It will be like how it would be if Vijay had spoken in Hindi throughout a Hindi film. I should also say about the heroine Kajal Agarwal. Though Tamil is alien to her, she has taken the story and her role inside her and acted well. The songs in Vijay films will always be special. The songs composed Harris Jayaraj has overtaken all the Vijay film songs.
The highlight of this film is the song Google Google sung by Vijay. India’s ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan has handled the camera for this film. The efforts he has taken for this film is exhilarating. The fighting sequence shot in Mumbai’s Sea Link Bridge will be the best part of this film. Let it be song or fighting sequence, you can see the massiveness in it. The reason for this is producer Dhanu. After completing all the works connected with this film, I saw it. I had self satisfaction. The same thing will apply to all the audience.”
