Director Mysskin’s Mugamoodi is making quick progress, stretching in the night shoots .The unit have been shooting in Triplicane ,Chennai and hero Jeeva tells us, “ 75% of Mugamoodi shoot happens at night… Just starting shoot after a short break.”
The shots are being canned well past midnight, even at 2 a.m., as fans mobbed the area flashing their mobile phones, trying to catch a glimpse of their hero. There is news that some maddening Parkour stunts (founded in France by David Belle), have been employed by the Mugamoodi stunt team, in scenes where Jeeva chases baddie Narain, jumping from building to building with ease. Director Mysskin chose the Triplicane area for it’s adjacent terraces and closely packed houses, which has made things easier for the actors.A source from the set confirms, “The talkie portions have completed and the climax shots and a couple of songs are left to be shot.” The Mugamoodi crew will pack their bags soon to Europe as part of a 2 week schedule abroad. News is that the audio launch for this superhero offering will take place by April end, with the film set for release in May.
