Director Mysskin’s Mugamoodi has been progressing at a brisk pace. The only hindrance came in the form of strikes, due to tensions prevailing between the Producer’s council and the FEFSI officials. Now that matters have resolved peacefully the Mugamoodi team is hoping to resume the shoots soon.
UTV chief Dhananjayan tells us, “About 40 per cent of the flick is completed and remaining part is being shot in and around Chennai. It will be ready this summer”. Director Mysskin who flew to the Czech nation, with his composer K, is tuning a peppy kuthu number. The composer has already finalized 3 of the total 4 tracks, and soon will start working on the background score for the film. Mysskin who had maestro Ilayaraja work with Budapest Festival Orchestra for his Nandalala, has roped in one of the best known symphony orchestras based in Prague for his upcoming super hero project. Composer K will receive some valuable inputs working with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, who will add some needed cinematic touch to the background scores. Starring actor Jeeva and Pooja Hegde in the lead, the movie has actor Narain playing the baddie for this release.
The Mugamoodi shoots will resume this Monday, on March 5th 2012.
