Friendship is a rare commodity in the cut-throat world of film industry. It’s in this context that the friendship between superstar Rajinikanth and ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan and the bonding between director-actor duo of Samuthirakkani and Sasikumar is observed with surprise. The latest to join the buddy gang in Kollywood appears to be actors Aarya and Jiiva.
The actors are on back-slapping terms with each other and it showed on-screen on a couple of occasions. While Aarya made a guest appearance in Jiiva’s Siva Manasula Sakthi, Jiiva reciprocated the gesture by making a ‘special’ appearance in Aarya’s B0ss Engira Baskaran. Incidentally, both the films were directed by M. Rajesh, who happens to be a close friend of both the actors.
Rajesh would now be directing a movie staring both Jiiva and Aarya in lead roles. The film would be produced jointly by both Jiiva and Aarya. While Aarya already has his production house in place with the making of Padithurai, Jiiva would have to set up an office of his own in future. It may be noted that Jiiva is the son of noted producer R.B. Choudhary, who owns Super Good Films.
Soon after completing Oru Kal Oru Kannadi starring Udhayanidhi and Hansika in lead roles, Rajesh would be starting work on Jiiva-Aarya starrer. In fact, Jiiva’s brother and actor ‘Jithan’ Ramesh would also be assisting him in producing the movie. The film is likely to be another laugh riot from Rajesh and has kept the actors excited. The movie is likely to go to the floors soon.
Two leading actresses will be roped in to play the heroines opposite the actors and a unique title is to be chosen.
