His film ‘Velayutham’ had its big audio release last Sunday amidst a large gathering of his fans at Madurai. It was an unusual audio launch function with Vijay distributing many welfare measures to his fans and the local community.
Seeing and understanding the love and affection of his fans towards him and the support he is garnering day-by-day sources very close to him revealed that the actor has made some important decisions in respect of his film and political career.
Number one is that hereafter the actor would act only in big directors’ films or of a director with a strong and meaningful script. He will no longer act in those run-of-the-mill masala films like ‘Sura’ and ‘Vettaikaran’ and see that every film of his will have a message to the people and to his fans. And, the message will have add some political mileage.
Second he will meet his fans very often to infuse more energy and encouragement and prepare them to form a strong political base. Vijay will also meet the public on the eve of different occasions like big leaders’ birthdays, national celebrations and in events that has social importance. More welfare measures for the common people will be organized, especially for the students and the younger generation.
He will be in touch with all the big political leaders irrespective of their party affiliations to develop a cordial relationship with all the leaders and parties.
The organisational set up of his ‘Makkal Iyakkam’ will be revamped and slowly developed into a political party. He will continue acting in films, but the subject will be carefully chosen that it will always project him with an image as a savior of the people – like what MGR did!
Under the guidance of his father S A Chandrasekar the actor will be projected as a matured and socially responsible citizen both in reel and real life. After garnering the strong support of his fans and public views the actor will be projected as a leader, as the only solution for the problems of the people.
Seems Vijay is now evolving as a mass leader from a mass actor! Is it good or bad? That’s the debate that is on…
