In 2009, it was a very disappointing for the buffs of A.R. Rahman as the maestro didn’t turn to Kollywood. But from the very beginning of 2010, it’s been the streak of bonanzas that started with ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’. Both the versions of Telugu and Tamil were chartbusters followed by the trilingual stroke with Manirathnam’s ‘Raavanan’. And now, the ‘Endhiran’ mania has haunted the entire town.
Walk across the streets or any nook and corners of the state, you’ll find ‘Endhiran’ songs ringing over the airs. For the first time, a Tamil musical album has topped the charts of I-tunes online stores. With No.1 position in USA and No.2 in UK, A.R. Rahman has now become the most prominent figure in the World of Music.
Now, A.R. Rahman has mentioned that the additional tracks of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ will be released shortly in stores.
