Popular choreographer-actor-turned-director Lawrence Raghavendra’s fantasy cowboy flick Super Cowboy (Irumbukottai Murattu Singam in Tamil), directed by cartoonist-turned-film maker Chimbudevan, is all set to hit screens on this Friday (May 7).
Produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram under the banner of SGS Entertainments with a massive budget of Rs. 20 crores, the film, which was supposed to release in March, was postponed because of the IPL. Lakshmi Rai, Padma Priya and Sandya are the female leads. G.V. Prakash is the music composer.
The film was shot by Kerala State Award winning cinematographer Alagappan at the locations of Bengaluru, Tenkasi, Tada, Madhya Pradesh, Rayachoti, Sathunur, Pune, Nagpur, Palghat, Amba Samudram and Pondicherry. This is the first film to be shot in Kandi Canal in Kandikota (of Vijayanagar dynasty).
