True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked. Well its how this young lad and missy fall in love. Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru doesn’t boast of an exceptional theme. Indeed, it’s a sweet romantic comedy interwoven with interesting elements of humour and emotions. Nandini, who has excelled with gold medal from Adyar institute of filmmaking has assisted director Priya in Kanda Naal Mudhal and Kannamoochi Enadaa. It’s noteworthy that Nandini’s short film Ottam had gained two Tamil State Government Awards in 2003.
She makes her debut directorial with this film, which is produced by Satyam Cinemas and Real Image.
Actor Ajmal, a doctor by profession who made his debut in Kollywood with Anjathey sheds his tough-guy role into a cool-romantic chap. Bangalore based model Rupa stars him opposite in female lead. Witnessing her fluency in Tamil, Nandini has offered Rupa to dub in her voice.
Ajmal does the role of a devil-may-care youngster who frequently gets into problems while Rupa solves them out.
The entire movie has been shot in digital format using RED ONE camera and post-produced on Digital Vision’s Film. Sudhir Chowdary has cranked the camera with M.S. Suryah editing the shots. Kiran is the art director and Mani Sharma has scored music to the lyrics of Yughabharathi and Lalith Anand.
The film’s audio was launched yesterday (August 4) by actor Kamal Haasan, director A.R. Murugadoss, Gowtham Menon and K.S. Ravikumar. Producers of the film have decided to dub the film in Telugu.
Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru is slated to hit the screens by first week of September.
