K.V. Anand couldn’t ask for more when Ayan was declared a hit at the box office. Ayan, starring Suriya and Tamannaah in the lead, went on to do extremly well in Tollywood too in its Telugu version.
When director K.V. Anand was approached for an interview, he said, “The response and interest that the movie generated has motivated us and made us feel that action movies are here to stay and will always be enjoyed by the public.”
Now the director has finished writing the script for his next film. And it has been confirmed that it is a high-voltage action thriller. Grapevine has it that the director has approached Vikram to play the lead role in his forthcoming film, which will be a early 2010 release.
Vikram is currently wrapping up Kanthaswamy directed by Susi Ganesan and is also simultaneously busy with Ravan by Mani Ratnam. The actor is the most bankable star today in Kollywood with a minimum guarantee for any season. Bheema was Vikram’s last film that released and it was more than a year ago. His fans are eager to see him in a larger-than-life avataar. K.V. Anand seems to be the best bet for this as he already has everything ready for Vikram!
