It is said that Kollywood’s sensational hero Suriya’s forthcoming Tamil film Ayan, directed by cinematographer-turned-director K.V. Anand and produced by A.V.M., will be dubbed and released in Telugu as Veedokaade. Sun Pictures has bought the distribution rights of Ayan and is expected to release the film worldwide in April.
Tantalizing damsel Tamannaah is the heroine. Extensively shot at the various locations of Namibia, Malaysia, Zanzibar and South Africa, Ayan has already completed its entire shooting and is now in post-production stage. While shooting in Africa, Suriya chose to perform extremely risky fight sequences himself instead of opting for body doubles.
Initially titled Boomathiya Regai, Ayan has background score and sound tracks by Harris Jayaraj. Cinematography is by the director himself. Veteran actor Prabhu, the dimple-cheeked hero who ruled Kollywood during his younger years, will be seen in a prominent role. Mumbai model-actor Akashdeep Sehgal is the villain. The film also has Karunas and Koena Mitra in major roles.
