Director Seeman was arrested under The National Security Act. Seeman recently spoke in a public meeting at Pondicherry against the Central Government and also supported the banned LTTE Organization. The Pondicherry police filed a case against him. After this he spoke in a public meeting on March 17th at Palayankottai organised by Nellai Advocate Association. After this he surrendered at the Nellai police commissioner office on 20th March with the help of the advocates. He was remanded and lodged in Pondicherry jail.
The Director is now detained under the NSA yesterday and the order was served on him at the Pondicherry Central Prison, where he was lodged on charges of sedition for making pro-LTTE speeches at a public meeting in the Union Territory. Seeman received the copy. The police will produce him in the Pondicherry court on March 6th where he will be taken into custody by Nellai police.
